St Andrew Anglican Church is a small but vibrant church in the heart of downtown Alliston (New Tecumseth), Ontario.

 

We are currently seeking a Music Director to develop and lead the music ministry, helping us to become more and more abeacon on the hill.

 

The primary role is to accompany the congregational singing at the 10 a.m. Sunday morning services and at special services, such as Christmas and Easter.   There will also be opportunities to organize and lead musical performances for special events.

 

The Music Director should be knowledgeable of, or willing to learn, contemporary Christian music as well as traditional Anglican music. Applicants should be accomplished musicians, preferably classically trained, with skills at the keyboard and in choir direction.

 

The building has excellent acoustics and is equipped with a high-end Kawai Digital Stage piano which has organ and orchestral sounds, and a professional grade digital board and PA system.

 

As a leader of praise and worship, the Music Director is someone who enjoys people and having fun, working in a team and cultivating learning and growth for both older and younger individuals.
